Taylors Vintage Port 2009

Den er produceret af Touriga Nacional, Touriga Francesca, Tinta Roriz, Tinto Cão, Tinta Barroca og Tinta Amarela druer. Alle dyrket i Douro dalen i Portugal. 

Den har været lagret 2 år på egetræsfade.  Flot, dyb lilla, næsten sort farve samt intens og eksotisk bouquet af sorte bær, violer og roser. 

 Kraftig og koncentreret smag, men samtidig elegant og velafbalanceret. Meget lang og behagelig eftersmag. 

Taylors Vintage Port 2009 er velstruktureret med masser af kraft, velegnet til desserter, chokolade og ost eller som et godt glas efter et måltid mad.

Now with a couple years in bottle, I am erring to the Taylor’s over the Fonseca (although these can always change!) The Taylor’s show more delineation and refinement with pure black currant, cassis, pencil box, hints of marzipan and a hint of dark chocolate. The palate is full-bodied and sumptuous with super-fine tannins, very pure blackberry and boysenberry notes interlaced with cedar, dried fig and a touch of black pepper on the beautifully refined finish. Excellent.
